Dr Lumart Wiechers

Dr Wiechers is a passionate and energetic interventional radiologist who is dedicated to improving the lives of his patients through innovative and minimally invasive treatments. Dr Wiechers graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCT medical school and finished top of his class in his final year.

He completed his specialist training at WITS where his dedication to interventional radiology was born. He combines technical skill and unwavering dedication to his patients to ensure that his patients receive the highest quality of care and the best possible outcomes.

Dr Maja Wojno

Dr Maja Wojno is a specialist radiologist with a special interest in interventional radiology. She achieved her primary medical qualification at Wits University in 2004 and ran her own GP practice before specialising in Radiology at the University of Cape Town.

Dr Wojno takes the time to get to know each patient and their individual needs, listening to their concerns and answering their questions with compassion and empathy. She was recently selected to represent South Africa in an international training program for women in interventional radiology.

Calvin Nel

Calvin Nel is a diagnostic radiographer, responsible for creating the X-ray images used to perform your procedure, and for ensuring everyone’s safety when it comes to radiation exposure.

Not only is Calvin a qualified Radiographer after completing his degree, he is also a classically trained musician and talented writer. In his free time, he can be found playing the cello, reading a good book or exploring a new hiking trail.
