Dr Lumart Wiechers
Dr Wiechers is a passionate and energetic interventional radiologist who is dedicated to improving the lives of his patients through innovative and minimally invasive treatments. Dr Wiechers graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCT medical school and finished top of his class in his final year.
He completed his specialist training at WITS where his dedication to interventional radiology was born. He combines technical skill and unwavering dedication to his patients to ensure that his patients receive the highest quality of care and the best possible outcomes.
Dr Musa Mthombeni
Dr Mthombeni is a dedicated, highly skilled Specialist Radiologist and Interventional Neuroradiologist who brings a wealth of clinical experience gained in high-volume, tertiary academic hospital settings to his practice.
He earned his MBBCh at the University of the Witwatersrand, subsequently completing his MMed in Diagnostic Radiology and obtaining his Fellowship of the College of Radiologists (FC Rad Diag SA) through the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa in 2023. He undertook advanced sub-specialty fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital, where he developed extensive expertise in complex neurovascular and endovascular interventions including aneurysm coiling and stroke mechanical thrombectomy.
Dr Mthombeni is deeply passionate about advancing patient care through minimally invasive, image-guided solutions, with a specific clinical focus on Uterine Fibroid Embolisation (UFE) and women’s health.
Sabelo Dhlamini
Sabelo is a Clinical Associate, bridging the gap between doctor and patient. After completing her undergraduate studies at WITS University, Sabelo went on to complete her postgraduate studies at UCT. When she’s not taking care of patients, you’ll find Sabelo engaging in creative projects, reading, and participating in long-distance runs.
